Nivea Pore Refining Clear-Up Strips!

Since I was about 11-12 years old, I've always had problems with blackheads on my nose, forehead and chin.

I've never really known how to get rid of them, but recently I've been using these strips from Nivea, they're pretty pricey, but if you use them correctly they'll work and remove most of your blackheads.

It comes with 6 of these "bags" with a strip in it. This exact product has 4 for your nose and 2x2 for your chin/forehead.

When you open these "bags" this is what comes out. They're placed on a piece of plastic since the strip itself is sticky.

Before you apply it to your nose/chin/forehead you have to have wet/damp skin, I always find that it works best with wet skin.

Then you have to pull the strip off of the plastic and place it on your nose/chin/forehead.

I'm really bad at placing the nose strip, but I always start by placing the middle of it first and then forming the rest of the strip to my nose. When you've placed it you can kind of move it around, but it sets pretty quickly.

On the packaging it says that you have to wait 10-15 minutes before taking them off, but you have to wait for the strips to become hard, and that usually takes 20 minutes for me.

When they're ready to be taken off, you just grab a corner of your strip and pull, make sure not to do it too fast. It might be painful, I personally think it's fun :D

And OF COURSE you have to look at strip afterwards, it's quite funny to see what the strips pulls out, and how much it got rid off. :)

After that just wash your face and put on some moisturiser and you're done! :D

If you can't get your hands on these strips, you can use a peel-off mask and make your own strips ^^
Just take the mask and apply it on your nose/chin/forehead and wait for it to dry and just peel it off. That's a budget way to do it, and works just as well :)

Thank you for reading <3

Have a lovely day x

Too Faced - Chocolate Bar!

So... You've probably heard all you needed to, about this eyeshadow palette BUT it just launched (a week or two ago) in Denmark and I thought I'd do a review on it for those who's not really sure about if it's worth the price. :-)

First of all it comes in a really nice packaging. It looks just like a real chocolate bar with the gold foil and then the pink paper around it.
Then the palette it self is really cute, it's brown (like chocolate duh) and has these pieces of chocolate on the top.

Inside the palette the eyeshadows are placed quite randomly.
In this palette there are 7 matte shades and 7 shimmer shades and 2 glitter shades. I feel like that is a really nice combo.

TIME FOR SWATCHES :D
I forgot 1 colour :( It's a dark brown one called Triple Fudge, it's a really nice matte dark brown colour. Oh well... :(

Swatches from left to right(all matte): White Chocolate, Strawberry Bon Bon, Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate, Semi Sweet, Cherry Cordial.
All the matte colours are soft as butter, the lighter colours are not as pigmented as the darker colours, but it's not much of a difference on the eyelid. These eyeshadows are really pigmented and you don't need much (all of these swatches are with one swipe) but at the same time they're really easy to blend and work with.

Swatches from left to right: Champagne Truffle, Marzipan, Crème Brûlée, Hazelnut, Candied Violet, Black Forest Truffle, Haute Chocolate, Amaretto, Gilded Ganache.
All the shimmery colours are definitely the most pigmented in this palette. They are also very smooth and buttery. These are also swatched with one swipe, and they came up this pigmented. I was really impressed.

As for the colours in the palette. I'll just say this, I'm a student and can't really wear smokey eyes, bright and colourful eye makeup in school, but I've still used ALL of these colours in 5 days. You can make it look really natural or you can make it smokey, it just depends on how you apply the eyeshadows and which colours you combine.

Today I took one of the darkest colours in the palette and created this look:

As you can see it's not really that overwhelming.

I would definitely say that this palette is worth every penny! If you're a neutral girl and like shimmer eyeshadow I would recommend this palette!

Here's some places where you can buy it!:
